It was a night of infamy, a night that would be recorded as one of the bravest moments in Israeli history. It was the midnight raid on the airport at Entebbe, Uganda on July 4, 1976. 106 hostages had been taken captive by terrorists from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
