I think we can all agree on what a lie is. It is the opposite of truth. It is the intention to deceive someone into believing something that is not true. But what exactly is misinformation? Is misinformation the same thing as a lie? It can be, but it is more complicated. I hear the word “misinformation” a lot lately and specifically in the context of political discussions. As I wrote in the previous article, I did a dumb thing. I left my glasses on the roof of my car and Elsie and I started home after our weekend at family camp. After I discovered that the glasses weren’t on my face, Elsie stopped and we drove back to camp and started searching the camp road from the parking lot all the way to the main road. We have covered a LOT of topics pertaining to the End Times. We are now nearing the end of the 7 year Great Tribulation. This culminates with the cataclysmic battle of the ages, good vs. evil. I felt like the blind man whom Jesus spit on his eyes and then asked him if he could see. He replied, “I see men, for I am seeing them like trees, walking about” (Mark 8:24). Jesus then laid His hands on his eyes a second time and he began to see everything clearly. The reason I felt like that is because I lost by glasses on the return trip from Labor Day Family Camp.
